DTNS 3249 – Cloudy with a chance of SaaS

A note by Morgan Stanley suggests Microsoft might be on its way to becoming the 1st trillion dollar company. Has the company’s refocus towards Software-as-a-Service the key reason for that and how long can the company rely on it to maintain its current trajectory? Plus FB attempts to simplify user accessibility to privacy settings and Saudi Arabia and Softbank are planning the world’s largest solar farm.

Starring Tom Merritt, Sarah Lane, Roger Chang and Chris Ashley.

  1. Hey guys love the show. You guys were talking about Oneplus responding to Vladd about the notch on phones and the fact that the essential PH1 being the first with a notch, but I beg to differ. I have an LGV20 with notch and the previous LG V10 did as well would you not agree that they did the notch well even though it wasn’t in the middle of the screen?

    1. I don’t think we said Essential was the first. Sarah said it was the first time she had seen a phone in person with a notch when she saw my Essential phone.
