  1. I have to admin, despite working in IT, I was totally in Sarah’s camp on the Facebook deleting messages thing. I’d done it several times and assumed they were gone, like with most real-time (or at least non-email) services. It had never occurred to me to check the other person’s view to see if the messages I deleted were still there or not! The current way seems like a very poor UI choice on their part, though perhaps consistent with the overall model. And now I have to wonder if comments I delete on someone’s post (or wall) also disappear only for me, even though that also would make no sense logically?
