DTNS 3268 – Amazon’s Junk in Your Trunk

Amazon wants you to give their delivery couriers access to your GM or Volvo car’s trunk. Is this typical of the company’s out of the box thinking or is this one drop off delivery method that’s that won’t take off?

Starring Tom Merritt, Sarah Lane, Roger Chang and Lamarr Wilson.

    1. Hmm. It appears PYTHON was out of date and might have been failing to connect to your server. Only your’s. How odd.

Python 2.7.14 installed and problem resolved.

  1. Regarding Amazon’s trunk delivery: Consider the situation where you can’t have a delivery at work, but they can deliver to the car – and send you a notification that they just put it in your trunk. You can then (immediately) go out to your car and retrieve the package. This way, your new prize possession doesn’t stay out there long enough for it to cook, freeze (we don’t all live in LA!), or be stolen. This works because Amazon sends notifications to your mobile app practically instantaneously with any delivery. The trunk would be no different.
